Located in Tallahassee, Florida, the Gamma chapter of Chi Omega was the second women’s fraternity chartered on the Florida State University campus on May 7th, 1908. Since our arrival on the FSU campus, Gamma has initiated more than 2,000 members. Currently, we have 155 beautiful collegiate members and 38 girls that live in the chapter house on West Jefferson Street.
In April 2008, we celebrated our 100th year on campus by welcoming over 400 alumnae to a Centennial Eleusinian Celebration weekend. The weekend’s festivities included the unveiling and dedication of "The Three Sisters" statue. Standing at 15-feet-high, the multiple-patina bronze statue of classic elegance, was dedicated to FSU in commemoration of Gamma’s Centennial Celebration and the ground breaking of Greek Park.
"We are most appreciative of the contributions that Chi Omega has made to support the creation of this plaza and our Greek Park," said FSU President T.K. Wetherell. "The park will be a beautiful milepost along our Legacy Walk."
Gamma looks forward to celebrating many more monumental occasions and leading the way in excellence on the FSU campus.
